Winter in Leaota Mountains

Winter has fallen in Leaota. The forests are covered with a thick layer of snow and all is quiet. But with the snow, wildlife prints are now visible everywhere. Even some bears are still around and have not yet decided where they will hibernate.

Preparing the Leaota conservation plan, it has been a busy and eventful year. Now, it is the time for office work, data analyses, reports and future plans.

We hope that 2017 will be a good year again for forests and wildlife conservation in Leaota.

Happy New Year to all our friends and colleagues!
